We may charge the 50% required deposit. Usually however we will not charge your card until you check-out, so that you may add all your consumptions at the hotel.

Do you provide a taxi pick up/drop off service to the airport?

YES. You may add this service to your reservation during online booking on our website or email us at To schedule your transportation to and from the airport please provide us with your flight number, airline and estimated arrival time. With this information we will arrange transportation to the hotel. This service will be added to your reservation and you can pay it together with your stay at check-out.

The driver will be in arrivals holding a sign with your name. The journey takes about 30 minutes. You do not have to worry about the payment, language barriers, currency exchange, dishonest services, or lift your luggage into the car. Our aim is to create the most relaxing environment during those stressful moments entering and exiting the country. For your comfort our staff will review flight times and changes periodically to plan for any schedule changes. We strongly recommend booking your taxi through the hotel.

Do you have parking?

There’s no parking inside the hotel property, however street parking is free outside the hotel. Our staff will keep vigilant of your vehicle however any damages or theft will not be the hotel’s responsibility. Please keep in mind the following: free street parking is in high demand during the weekdays (daytime) and widely available at nighttime and all throughout the weekend. Additionally, municipal street parking is broadly available on adjacent Condel and Seminario avenues all week long at low fees based on time of usage (night is free there). Municipal workers will give you a receipt when you park, then you pay cash when you leave the parking spot. We highly recommend using public transportation during your stay in Santiago.

Do you serve dinner/evening meals?

We do keep pastries and snacks at our complimentary coffee bar available 24/7. Carménère does not serve evening meals. Additionally, we have available for purchase natural snacks, made by small local companies, such as fruit or veggie chips, or bottled natural juice drinks made from organic fruits (no additives).

Each bedroom has a folder containing a list of all the closest restaurants and pubs all within 1 or 3 blocks away, together with copies of their menus and a map showing their location. Most of them do deliver.

Our complimentary organic Coffee bar includes traditional “Mate”, distilled water dispenser and an ice maker during summer season for your iced tea/coffee or cold drink.

Can I check in early?

Is it a problem if I wish to leave very early?

No. A self serve Continental breakfast is available on request, make sure to tell us a day in advance. Taxis can be booked for any hour but must be reserved in advance.

Can I check in late?

Yes, we have a ‘late entry’ system setup for our guests. Just let us know of your special circumstance during your booking, and our night personnel will expect you and possibly surprise you with a midnight snack.
